Cynthia Phua

Corporate Advisor

Ms Cynthia Phua is the Corporate Adviser of IFFI Pte Ltd. She is a management consultant and a businesswoman, who manages childcare.

Cynthia has over 30 years of experience in the real estate and retail industries in Singapore and overseas, having held the positions of Executive Vice President of Singbridge Corporate Pte Ltd; Head of Commercial Properties of Knight Frank Pte Ltd, Head of Real Estate of NTUC Fairprice, and General Manager of Cheers Convenience Stores.

Presently, she is the Director of VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer, and Clarity Singapore Ltd; School Management Committee Member of Catholic High School and continues to serve in other social and charitable organizations, Advisor to SG100 Foundation, LPG Association, Defu Manufacturers’ Association; and others.

Between 2001 and 2011, Cynthia was also an elected Member of Parliament and actively manages the Town Council as Chairman.

Cynthia holds a B. Sc (Estate Management) Honours from the National University of Singapore. She also attended the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School in the USA.

Blake Olafson

Founding Partner, Asia Capital Real Estate (“ACRE”)

Blake is a co-founding partner of Asia Capital Real Estate (“ACRE”) www.acremgt.com, a private equity firm with over US $3 Billion in AUM. He is responsible for the expansion of ACRE’s platform in southeast Asia and oversees ACRE’s flagship developments in Thailand.

He is also the co-founder of HOMA (www.homa.co) a platform of a new generation of residential accommodation in Thailand featuring tech-enable guest experience, flexible leases, and modern facilities including co-working spaces.

With a strong focus on sustainable development, Blake is able to bring his global experience into providing best of class sustainable and environmentally conscious development and building standards into the Thai projects. As such, HOMA Phuket Town is the first LEED and Edge Advanced certified residential project in the country.

Blake’s long-term relationships in the marketplace have allowed him to partner with strong financial partners to ensure that the projects are well capitalized both in debt and equity and professionally developed. Blake secured the first green certified financing from UOB in Thailand as well as the first real estate loan commitment from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to fund construction of HOMA’s Phuket project.

Mr. Olafson has been an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), www.uli.org where he currently serves as a Global Governing Trustee in addition to previously serving as Chairman of ULI Singapore and a member of the Executive Committee of ULI Asia.

Lee Ang Seng

Managing Director – Beca Singapore & Myanmar

1st Vice President (2021-2023) – Singapore Green Building Council

Ang Seng leads the engineering consulting business for Beca in Singapore and Myanmar as Managing Director with 250 strong technical professionals in these offices. He is a key member of Beca Asia Leadership Team and the Beca Group Executive Leadership Team. He is actively involved in strategic planning with key business and market leaders in the group and leads the implementation of the company strategies.

As an active advocate of sustainability across the Built Environment industry value chains, Ang Seng serves in the board of Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) since 2019, and currently holds the position of 1st Vice President of SGBC. He is also a member of the Industry Advisory Committee of the Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering (Building Services) for SIT University that provides feedback on curriculum development for the degree programmes.

Dr Emmanuelle BUCAILLE

CEO and Co-Founder of Pure Active Water Pte Ltd

Dr Emmanuelle BUCAILLE started her career in the Pharmaceutical Industry at Pierre Fabre Laboratory. Nature has always been a source of inspiration for Pierre Fabre Group where she developed her expertise in phytotherapy and thermal spring water.

Considering the lack of clean water accessibility and sanitation issues especially in Asia, she decided to found in 2016, Pure Active Water Pte Ltd, an eco-friendly start-up dedicated to sustainable water treatment, making a significant contribution towards people and the environment.

With ActivH2O, an innovative and patented chemical-free water treatment, Pure Active Water provide safe water and sanitation solution, eliminates bacteria and virus (including SARS-Covid 2), and generates natural oxidants protecting water from re-contamination.
